good dealer info need

finally, my wife decided to change her new beetle (rode for 5 years).
I live in atlanta, GA but I am willing to travel or order it from outside of state. I was thinking that one dealer in OH area has a good reputation.

actually, Mini is about $3000 over budget for our financial situation so we only need a basic with automatic. Hopefully, we can find one below $20000 but $21500 will be our max.

any recommendation?

Go directly to Amanda Harwood at MINI of South Atlanta - she and Jason (SM) will treat you right. I strongly recommend that you avoid Global MINI/BMW at all costs.

Good Motoring.

If your willing to come up to NJ, Morristown Mini is Excellent.

I bought my '06 MCS CPO (Mini NEXT or used) from them about 6 mo ago.

8200mi, w/ manual, 17" not-so-lites, LSD, mlt-fxn steering wheel w/cruise.
~20K.

Give them a call... 973-451-0009 or ping them
http://www.morristownmini.com/
(they have the insta-quote on their web)

They typically have the lowest part costs around (~10% under MSRP), and when I was shopping, had the lowest prices on cars too.

(usual disclaimers apply... just a happy customer, no fin. connections...)
Good Luck,

HTH!

You can try MINI of Nashville too, just a short drive away from Atlanta and a fun town to take delivery in. John Monk and the rest of the gang there are great to deal with. They've sold cars as far away as Oregon and are straightshooters.

615.620.6464 = the main number for them.

I would not recommend South Atlanta.

They managed to unmake a sale.

I ultimately wound up at Global and had a very good experience.

I ordered mine.

MSRP was under 21k.

Without DSC and Sport Suspension I could have had an Automatic for about the same money.

The big build time options for me were DSC and Multi-function steering wheel (cruise control).

If you are careful with the options and don't get metallic paint, you can easily bring it in at 21k.

I travel to NY/NJ area once a month so definately, I will consider them. thanks!

somewhat reason, there are mixed reputation mini dealers in atlanta.
that's why I am willing to buy it from out of state.
will see how it goes with GA dealers first.

actually, I bought my subaru in NJ when I was in AR.

Does anyone know killer deals for mini?

Don't know any killer deals, but I'm in the process of buying from Century MINI in Greenville, SC (As my sig says, I'm saving for the DP now). If you check them out, definitely ask for Hyder. He's been nothing but professional and extremely helpful so far!

Just got an email from south mini and they have Mellow Yellow paint for $20500. Sport seats, Front fog lamps.
will see if I can find lower than that.
actually, my wife told me she only needs cd player on her car.
Her 2003 beetle does not have CD player
I guess she will never use fog lamps

I requested price quotes but only one dealer emailed me.
usually car dealers send emails within a hour (kinda strange).

I have had great luck there also. Acutally bought 2 cars there this year, and both times have been awesome. Agree also that John Monk and group are very knowledgeable and of great help.

I actually got a spec price from Century and emailed it to the three other dealers near me, Charlotte, Global, and Charleston...I ended up buying in Charleston.

Century wanted to charge a $600 dealer prep bogus addon charge to the final cost to ensure that BMW would honor the warrenty on the car. I called BS and walked out of the dealership because they would not budge off of it. It also included a tank of gas, detailing, and floor mats. I got my mats for free from Charleston.

how much does south mini charge for "fee"?
I don't want to pay the dealer documentation fee over $99.
is there any hidden fees?

we are in tight budget so every dollar counts for us.

Good for you!

I had to restrain myself from commenting while you were perusing the various dealerships. (FYI - Global BMW/MINI in Atlanta and the Greenville, SC. dealerships are owned by the same corporation).

My personal experience with MINI of South Atlanta in both purchase and service has been refreshing when compared to other Georgia BMW dealerships. I am confident that MINI of South Atlanta will provide you with similar positive experiences. They are very responsive to their customers. (I have no affiliation with them, other than being a satisfied customer).

Good motoring!
