That idea was ripped off from a bar scene in "Total Recall" (which had a line something like "I always give the customer more than he expects")

I spotted lots of other other pop-culture rip-offs in that effort...for trivia points that may or may not mean anything on the next club event, who can name the *two* films that were ripped off in the loop-the-loop bit?

 

OK, it was "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" (going over the waterfall scene) and "ET".

And don't make any jokes about old fuds who remember such stuff...
