MYMINI Visa Card
MYMINI Visa Card
Using my MYMINI Visa card almost never fails to be questioned 'Do you have a MINI?'...to which we happily respond YES!!! Inevitably, the next thing they say is 'I want one of those!!'
(Because you just can't have enough vanity credit cards in your wallet. [I'm just kidding here folks, don't jump all over me.])
Update: Okay, I found the site on my own (It's amazing what you can find with this 'Google' the kids are all talking about these days.) and I love the fact that you can customize the Mini on your card so that it looks like your Mini. Awesomesauce. And the best part? 'The customizable MINI Card is based on a patent-pending process.'

I was applying for the card and they ask if I have a promotion code or dealer code? Anybody have one of these numbers they wanna share? If not, I will call the dealership and see if they will share.
I've had one almost a year now. I love having a credit card with my car pictured on it. I hate that almost no one handles a card any more. Most everywhere I shop I have to slide it myself. I guess I should stop letting my husband pay at restaurants - yeah right!
Anyone come up with any info on this?

What are you talking about? You get points for usage on these cards. In fact I just got a free CAI by the use of the points. I agree that the usage of them(points) is somewhat limited as you need to use them at a dealership, but for as much as I drive and maintain the car, the points work fine for me.
Assuming you all pay your bills, this is an okay credit card.
There are some better ones out there where you earn free gas or get carbon credits , travel miles, etc.
Also, if you have too many credit cards, your credit rating slips. So you should limit the credit cards to a few at most.
I agree that most people don't even see your credit card anymore with you doing all of the work at the register these days.
I always wonder if my credit card was stolen, doesn't that just make it easier for the thief?

The dealer/promotion codes are just a way for MINI to track/credit those who told you about the card. I'm not sure if they get 'kickbacks' for doing so, but it's not needed in order to apply.
I've had my mini card since Feb 2007. You can earn double pts on dealership, toll, and gas purchases. Since receiving my card, I've strictly used it only for toll, gas, and car-related accessory purchases. First 6 months is 0% apr.
Totally enjoying my 14k limit.

My mistake on points - if all they do is give you point/$$$ at the Dealer, I would pass - I live an hour away and really do not plan to spend money there for after market items - I now carry three cards - each has a different program - its a PIA sometimes but the rewards do pay off - Since I have been on wife #2 (15 years) we have Never carried a balance on any card - In fact I plan to use one to pay for my Mini - I ask my MA twice if he take Visa and each time he said yes - I do expect him to back off that when I pickup my Mini and hand him my Visa - I will push because he said "Yes we take Visa" I am will to bet he did not think I meant "to pay for the Mini" I will let you know.... Points on a 20K+ Mini will add up.... lol
and here i am..having a $1k limit on my amex..
but i signed up for a mini credit card. hopefully i'll get it.
doesnt really look like my mini at all. but oh well it's close enough for me.
