Anybody got good pix of Redwood Red lounge leather?

I would like to get a good look at the Redwood Red leather interior. What does the back seat look like? Is there anyone out there who could post some photos? Thanks in advance.

Hi! Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the interior myself but I was pondering getting it on my MINI as well and looked to NAM for suggestions. If you look around the forums there are a TON of pictures; just do a search for redwood red or lounge leather.
Good luck!

Using the search, I found several good front seat shots but none of the rear seat. Also noted in a german site, the "seat portion" is tuck and rolled, not just the back. What's with that? The Germans are as fat as we.

Hmmm well I definitely saw at least 2 backseat shots on here but I can't remember whether they were tuck and rolled or not... I'll try looking around a bit though.

Rear seat pattern on LL seats is NOT same as front.

Front seats have the rolled/tufted portion at underthigh area and in backrest portion of seat.

Rear seats have rolled/tufted portion in butt area and backrest portion. Upper portion of rear seats and underthigh area of rear seats is smooth leather.

Mine are black so I do not have a picture of redwood.

I've got the redwood in my MCS, and I must say...its one of the nicest, most unique colors I've ever laid my eyes on!! Its not for everyone, but I sure as hell LOVE it!!

I don't have any decent pix of the back seat, but here's a couple of the front seat. I'll try to take some in the next day or two if no one else posts any decent pix.

Looks good. It certainly wouldn't look good with certain body colours.

If at all possible I'd check it out in person before you drop $1900 on it. Almost every digital picture of the Redwood leather I've seen posted is in a different shade (red to orange and almost anything in between), so it's hard to tell exactly what color it really is.

Out of curiosity mainly, does anyone have shots of a BRG with the redwood red lounge leather? I've seen threads alluding to pics of it on the forums, but searching never yeilded the pics for me.

Thanks!

I think you are correct there! Some pictures show an almost tan color and others highlight the red. The sample I saw at the dealer was just a swatch so I couldn't tell much.

I'll bet the smell of the leather on a warm day is great as well.

I've got it and I think of it as a kinda terra cotta clay/salmon. It's truly British with the dark grey piping. I love it.

I saw it in the dealership showroom yesterday. It kind of reminded me of a wierd-hued pumpkin-patch. Not something I would pay extra for - sorry!

I love how everyone has a different way of describing it

IMO, Redwood Red only looks good with certain exterior colors. There was an old friend of mine that has a Sparking Silver Metallic MINI with the Redwood Red interior and it looked great.

Yes - just an opinion. I do love the pepper white / black roof combo though!
