of the owner's lounge, but for the past two days, the OL has been especially cruel. My car has entered the enchanted forest that is the VPC, and will hopefully see the light of day again.

Yesterday morning I checked the OL, and it had an "estimated delivery date" of 9/7. Woo hoo, right? Not so much. The dealer doesn't have the car yet, but they hope it will be out of the enchanted forest soon.

Today's check of the OL? Yeah, estimated delivery date of 9/6. That would be yesterday. Delivery yesterday? Really? Weeelll, I think I drove my old crappy car to work this morning, let me go check.....yep, still driving my 1995 Mazda.

Afraid I blacked out there for a minute.

 

If I were feeling cruel, I'd tell you that the 9/6 date means you'll see your new baby on 9/6/08.

But my guess is the computer is running Lucas Electronics and the Storm Worm, so its got its negatives and i's all mixed up.

Have faith, the wait is nearly over!

I shoulda gotten it UPS/FEDEX overnighted, grrr....

 

Mine finally updated to VDC (it has already been there 5 days!!!!!) but the OL did give a delivery date of next week, so I shall officially be impossible to live with until then.

What week are you? What ship are you on? If you know the VIN you can go to WW, find the ship, and then track its location on AIS.

 

I'm a Week 34, but car isn't on a WW. It's on one of those magical untrackables, as far as I can tell :(

My apologies for lying... I am suddenly on the Patriot, it just never showed up until.... right now. Loaded on the boat on the 1st!

 

Ooh, is it on a K-Line? They magically appear. I don't know how to track those. We need to ask Tharkun. He knows all. I don't think he is on right now though.

 

Once the OL says your Mini is En Route, call your MA. They will be able to tell you what ship it is on. Then you can check the destiination port websites where your ship is headed. For instance, the Charelston Port website lists dates of expected arrival and also tells when the ship is at the dock, when it got there, when work to unload began etc. My R56 was on the Western Highway (a K-Line) and it arrived yesterday (9/6/7) at 12:30 a.m., and began unloading Minis at 7 am yesterday. My MA expects to have the car in about a week to a week and a half.

 

The Patriot is WW. I just never found it on the website because it sat at the port for a week, and was finally booked on the 30th (I swear I checked the site after that date and still never found it!)

 

British dates: 9/6/2007 = June 9. Your MINI came in a couple of months ago, but you never called, so they sold it.

I see you found the Patriot group in the 1st Gear section, as you know you are on a WW ship and Patriot will be docking at NY on the 10th, then on to the next 3 ports.

Remeber this......I'm just using my expierience of the last few months from tracking Skeeter. By doing that it is usually rather accurate, but stuff happens and screws things up. Like now there are a couple of members that have missed two WW ships in a row, this is unusal.....and it sucks to be them.
Bright side is once you take delivery of your Mini and are motoring down the road, all of the wait and fustration is soon forgotten.

 

My Mini arrived at the dealer on August 31st. I've been driving it since Sep 4th and it's still listed as at the VDC. So much for accuracy.
