Does Park Distance Control Work w/JCW Aero Kit?

Just wondering if the rear JCW Aero kit covers up the distance sensors...

Anyone know?

Your body shop will have to cut out the holes so you can mount the sensors but it will work.
Couple of points:
  1. For 1st Generation MINIs, the aero kit was not considered a JCW item. It was always just the "aero kit", no JCW badges or anything related to that. The 2nd Generation MINIs (e.g. R56) do have an available JCW aero kit though, so it has caused some confusion.
  2. The rear bumper for the 1st Gen aero kit is available in both PDC and non-PDC versions. The PDC version already comes with the holes, so there is no need for the body shop to cut anything.
Note: I have edited the thread title to remove "JCW" from it, to reduce confusion.
Note #2: Added JCW back in to the title, since it turns out this is about the 2nd Gen JCW Aero Kit (thread originally posted in 1st Gen forums).

+1 -- order one with PDC -- don't go cutting holes in another bumper

I'm terribly sorry. Somehow I posted this in the wrong forum. The question pertains to a 2nd generation MCS which I am preparing to order.

No problem - I'll move the thread over to the 2nd Gen forums!

It may just be the way the light's hitting it, but in both pictures, the right "unpainted" side actually looks like a better match than the painted side.
