Woo hopefully in the next week...

I will own a 05 Mini. Going to go test drive a black 05 MCS on Thursday. We'll see how it goes and hopefully it will be mine, muahahaha! Ok, so what should one expect to pay for a low mileage fully loaded (minus nav and LSD)? I can't think of the options it specifically has, but I'm about 99.9% sure it's fully loaded. Also, is there anything in particular I should look for or listen for?

Thanx
Jon

PS. Also how well do the convertibles perform? Are they heavier than the hard tops?

Jon:

Is that the one at the Mercedes dealer in C/S I saw in the paper? If so, it was listed as an Automatic. I too have an all black '05 MCS, black 18" wheels w/ red pin stripe, 6 spd.

With low miles, maybe mid $20's high end, a great deal would be low $20's from what I've seen on ebay. If at a Dealership, they bought it on ebay or took in trade. They will want high dollar unless it stays on the lot too long, then they are knwn to sell cheap to move it. There seems to be bad luck associated w/ a car left on the lot too long.

If you're looking at an '05 MCSC, I just bought a Jet Black one less than two months ago... very well loaded.

Here's the thread.

I didn't pay the full asking price, but I did pay a little over $25K.

Mike, no this is not the one at that dealership. It was at Stevinson Imports and is being brought to me at the dealership I am currently uh "shopping" with. Basically, I'm getting a pretty good deal on it if I decide to go with it. My parents are really good friends with the owners of the dealership (Automotive Avenue). Hope that makes some sense.

BTW, I'll stick with the 6-speed...

Hey Vince,
No it didn't ever happen... sad I know. It was the perfect one til the test drive and afterwards. The tranny had a problem while I was driving it, the car looked as though it had been in a slight accident and the dealership wanted $21 or $2400 over blue book.

So ya, I'm still looking.
