After reading the manual, I still cant figure out how to stop the navagation system during the route. I cant get to the screen that is shown in the manual. Any suggestions? whats the magic command?

 

Voice command ---> "Stop Guidance"

 

OR, with the joystick and the map display on (in guidance mode), point it to the right once to get to the menu of icons on the top right side of screen. Then rotate the top of the joystick to the right a few times until you have highlighted the icon that looks like an Arrow pointed at a dot, something like ==>O Now press down on the joystick once, that will put an X over the above icon which turns guidance OFF. That icon is the Guidance icon, think of it as your being guided (the arrow) to the dot (your destination).

 

Or still another method: push the joystick to get the Navigation menu. Go up to the list of destinations...your current destination is marked with an arrow, and the orange cursor is probably already on the current destination. Push the joystick again on the current destination to get a sub-menu; the first choice there is "Stop Guidance."
