Will stoptech bbk fit with stock 17"s?

I got a 03 MCS and have the 17" wheels and am wondering if the Stoptech BBK will fit with stock wheels or do you have to go bigger?

The answer as far as I know is NO they will not fit. I know that some 17's fit like the OZ Ultra's with a 5mm spacer. I thought my 18's would clear no problem because they bow out big time and come to find out....I was sorely mistaken

No is the simple answer

You would have to run a crazy spacer:
http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wheel_fitment.shtml#m

BBS mentions all their wheels that will fit a kit:
http://www.bbs-usa.com/

Just follow the application guide.

todd at TCE has a vast assortment of brake kits that will fit almost any wheel. Texasspeedwerks also has a new monster BBK that will fit smaller wheels. there are options out there. stoptech and brembos require more clearance than the above. on the track, my brakes are the difference between me and the pack of younger hounds trying to catch me. i hope they don't read this and upgrade.....

Agreed. Don't bail on the BBK upgrade over wheel options alone. One might argue pros and cons to a name but few kits are really worth the cost of a whole set of wheels and tires just to make them fit. Do some more research before you spend the money either way.

if you going to go BBK, you will need a min. of 17x7.5 rim. period, so regular 17x7 will not going to fit without spacer.

Is that Stoptech specific?

There BBK's that are designed to work with wheels as small as a 15x7.

yes. and it is for all the four pistons big brakes. i think JCW big brake or wilwood makes 1 piston big brake that does not require bigger rims.

I got a template for the Stoptechs once, added room for a 15mm spacer and still couldn't get anywhere near the spacing to fit under my 17" factory webspokes.

I just installed the Wilwood set with 11.7 rotors last night - 5mm spacer required for lots of clearance on the webspokes.

im running a 5mm spacer for my et 37 17x7 oz ultraleggeras to fit. I could have done it with a 3mm spacer but figured what the heck get a little extra room.

now trying to find winter wheel's that fit... that will be fun :(
