Just be prepared to get your chops busted by cops a lot. I went to court for my speeding ticket today and the Trooper said "Those MINIs are easy to spot" and if he sees me again with my Europlate he will ticket me.(I cant believe he remember a small detail like that) What he doesnt know is that...I JUST GOT TINTS TOO! LOL! He reduced my speeding ticket, but now I have to take defensive driving. Meanwhile this hot girl who was speeding the same amount as me..he reduced to NO SEAT BELT! What the hell??!!!

I am getting a legal tint, so I am not worried.

Looks good Ant. I got mine tinted right before the Dragon Run (35% on the front two windows and 15% on the back three) I have since gotten a CooperFlag emblem for my sunroof. This is the only pic I have since the tint job (taken at the Dragon). I'll try to post more after next weeks meet in Fl.

Legal tint is 75% in NY.

 

I think mine is legal in most states. Im in Germany and its not, but they don't mess with Americans much. My wife just got it done for me.

Can anyone tell me if this would not pass their state laws?

Strange question? can you get ticketed travelling in another state if you have what that state deems to be illegal tint? Seems like something I should know since traveling to all the No-no states next weekend.

i wouldn't sweat it, as long as you have different state plates!

 

Cooperspeed, the law in Connecticut is 20%, which is really quite dark.

 

I forgot to ask, what is the going rate for window tinting all the windows except the front windshield, which is illegal to tinit anyway.

Ive been wanting to get mine tinted about the same too, Here in So Cal you can get it for about $90 on sale. Just dont get caught by the cops! red03miniS knows what I'm talkin about

 

$170 sounds right. I think I am going to go for the 20% then...if I can see out the sides that is...har har har...
