Hey guys, I know we've talked about this before, but wouldn't it be cool to have our club profiled in an issue of MC2? It doesn't seem like it would take a lot to have us put in there, they just need a pic, and a 300-500 word write-up of the club, like how we started, how many members, what we do....Anyone have any cool pics of an event that we've done recently? I have a few of the Mt. Mitchell run, but we've done other cool stuff since then. If not, I'm sure we can get some really good pics next month at the Auto Fair. If no one has the time to do a write-up, I love to write and have a lot of time on my hands, so I would be willing to do it, just need some club info from Luke or someone that knows the history. Anyway, it's a thought...

 

I think it would be great if you undertook this project. This was actually supposed to be already done when the magazine first came out, but the ball was seriously dropped and never picked back up, until now. Glad you showed the initiative to get it rolling again.

Ok, cool! The Auto Fair would be a cool thing to have put in the write-up, and the Nov. dragon run too.

 

In late May / early June I submitted pictures and a write up of our April Autofair - Barry Brazier - said it met his deadline we would have a place in the magazine. So, I'm waiting to see what's in the next issue??? Hoping also to see if he include the Great Ice Cream Run, too.

 

I have pics from many events if you need them, another idea is the Xmas lights run, that's a good hook, maybe we could submit a couple times a year? I'd think if you give Barry good copy, he'll get you in whenever he can...

 

Yeah, Dave, that sounds like a good idea. We are always doing something so there are plenty of opportunities to get good pics. I like the christmas lights idea, that will be good. I'm thinking the auto fair and the annual meeting would be good for the 1st time? What do you guys think?
