I got it today. Drove the Mini in to my Tiny garage, got the jack and jack stands out, crawled around on the floor for about 2 hours, cut my hand, (you are really not working on cars if you don't cut yourself!), and bingo, done!
First impressions...Kind of loud but, not too loud. Nice kind of burble to it. Get her up to around 6000 rpm at WOT and then she really seems to roar. Cruising easy at 60 or so, just a little louder than stock I think. Seems to have a little more tourque when starting out. Definitely seems to have more power all around. So far so good!

I've had my QS on for two days now and I really like it. Yesterday it was a bit noisy and loud but I think I am getting used to the growl and today it was better. Maybe I am a bit more deaf today. I have tested it with windows up or down. If you like the sound of the exhaust then drive windows down. When I have the windows up and the radio on I can still hear the exhaust but not too bad. At times it does drone a bit and I am able to lessen this and most of the unwanted noise by modulating and letting go of the throttle just enough to quiet things down. if you ride the trottle as you go you will encourage droning to some degree. Depends on your speed and resonance of your MCS and the install.

Overall the install went well. I took it to a shop I know and they had it on in an hour. No problems. I told them that to minimize hanging problems, one person could hold the centerline tail pipe tip in proper position while the two clamps were being tightened down.

Sound-louder than stock or Borla, not as loud and Magnaflow. Louder on acceleration and quiet on coasting or constant velocity. Very pleasing low tone with burble on coasting right after acceleration. People at the dealership thought it was very nice. Most people here in Hawaii have Borla as an aftermarket (about 95+%). The droning is minimal and I can minimize the loudness overall by adjusting my throttle. If I want to be loud I can be loud. Not sure that I can pass the wife test, I didn't try yet. When the car had to go to the shop and I was questioned what was going on now? I said I am adding a "muffler"-kinda hard to hide the 30x40" box that arrived last Friday. more difficult to hide is the 44 pound 4 foot stock one piece exhaust system- but that is tucked away on the side of the house for now.

Performance- Acceleration in 1st and 2nd gear is good. Noticably better. Works really well with my madness intake that I have had on for 3000+ miles. But my acceleration was never this good-even on the track. today I did a wide open throttle in 3rd getting on the freeway and at about 4000 rpm the car literally took off like a hot potatoe. Almost like having a pulley. Speed jumped to 70 very quickly. Now that was quite nice. Who needs 4th gear!

I drove over to my father's house and showed him the Quicksilver. I started up the engine and reved it. He listened to the exhaust and thought it was fine, not too loud. There are many racer hondas near where he lives that drive by at high speeds (25 mph zone!)
My father turned 76 yesterday and bought himself a second used Honda shadow 600cc motorcycle (for my brother to join him on rides). He likes motorcycles so maybe to him the QS loudness is minimal.
