JCW springs

Does anyone have any difinitive annswers as to what the springs rates are on the variouse JCW springs. I have been looking for H&Rs but been thinking lately that maybe JCW springs might be better. Ive looked on here, but havnt found anything out yet. Anything you know about themwould help, like if they are progressive or not. I figure some shop has to of tested them to figure it out.

Thanks

Beecher

Yeah, but that thread is kinda long, and I don't recall it having much to say on the JCW springs. And I've found that even if I do a search it's hard to find things a lot of times.

Anyway, the JCW springs are linear rate, and from what I was told by Scott at Texas Speedwerks, they measured a 165 rate - same as regular MCS springs. I've got the TX Speedwerks springs in my car, which are a 200 rate, and I'd tend to believe what Scott told me, as I previously had the JCW springs in the car, and the TX Speedwerks springs are noticeably stiffer than the JCWs were. I know the JCW springs are supposedly matched to VINs, but I don't know if the rates are actually supposed to be different or just the spring length.

hmm, thats probably why they wont tell anyone what they are. I knew the stockers were 165. I guess i will just go with H&Rs afterall.

thanks for the help

Just a heads-up, TSW will have 200 lb linear springs with 7/8" to 1" FRONT and rear sometime next week...

no problem, i figured that might have been the case, but it wasnt out of the question that i was blind either. Sometimes i forget that i have to look with my eyes OPEN. You would think i would have figured that out by now, but apparinently not, hah
