I appeal to the wisdom and opinion of MCO.

I'm going with the Falken Azenis package from Mini-Motorsport for sure. The only question is which wheel. Randy at MM has more of the AK Monza coming but I like another wheel he offers to. I have a Dark Silver / Black MCS and which one do you like better?

AK Monza

Team Dynamics

I like the black!

Stealthy. Serious. Racy (not ricy).

You know both wheels look great, what you really need to decide is what type of 'look' you are trying to achieve. The dark wheel with your silver car definately gives it the 'stealth' look while the Team Dynamics wheel gives it the 'track' look.

I just went through the same execise, agoonized over it for weeks and just 30 minutes ago received my new OZ's and Yoko AS100's. Can't wait to get those puppies mounted!

How easy will it be to keep them clean (esp brake dust)?

The Black ones? I don't think they'll be any more difficult than the factory wheels or the AK's. The Black TD will mask the dirt better.

I'm mainly interested in the look. Mostly, that I don't do something that looks crappy. I think the Black ones look "smoooove" and very sharp.

The picture of a dark wheel you posted is of the Centerline RPM, not the Team Dynamics wheel. My preference would be the Centerline though, I prefer the look and its forged.

It's a Team Dynamics -- look closely. The Centerline has 6 spokes and the TD has 5. Check their website: http://www.teamdynamicsusa.com and pick "wheel ranges", and then "Pro Race 2"

A LOT less expen$ive too! Weighs in at 13.64 LBS

Oh wow, you're right! They look exactly alike except for the number of spokes.
Do you know if they're forged as well?

I'm diggin' the Pro Race 1, too.

Yeah, Pro Race 1's rock too, but look like they're a bear to clean.

I don't know if they are forged or not. I'll ask. The other slight difference is that the Centerline has a nicer center.

Just use a combination of waxing your wheels and simple green.

Simple green will get the brake dust off (and works really well) and waxing your wheels will help keep the brake dust off so you can just take a hose to them and the dust will fall right off. And when you get them, before you put them on, is a great time to wax them.

We have the Monzas with Khumos for auto-cross (also DKS/BLK S), but the more I look at them, the more I'm thinking of making them my "permanent" wheels. The black ones are cool too.
Let us know about the Falkens as I want to replace the ride-like-bricks runflats as soon as they wear out. I've heard good things about the Azenis.

Luke......come to the Dark Side of the Force.

With your "S" I would definately go for the black ones. It will make your "S" look like a lean, mean, Auto-X-ing machine. Especially with your Aero grill, black stripes /DS, it is a match made in heaven.

When are you having this done? Before the Auto-X on the 29th?

Post some pictures when it gets done for all to enjoy.

R.

UPDATE!

That black 5-spoke Pro Race 2 from Team Dynamics is also available in the same colours as the Pro Race 1; Black, White, Silver and Anthracite.

I'll prolly go with the Anthracite. Schweeet.

Photos as soon as I get them. I don't know how soon Randy can get them but either way I'm probably looking at about 4 weeks. No wheels for the AutoX on teh 29th.
