As far as tuning goes, at what point do you all recommend a tune? Obviously, a CAI will not need a tune, but what about with a cat back? Again, I know the further you go, the greater the need. Also, its the only way to optimize the performance parts you install. One last one, what is recommended for tuning? I don't ever see hand held tuners. I guess it's something where you need the ECU to be flashed by someone?

 

I guess the question is what do you mean by tune. Spark Plugs, wires & etc.?

 

I suppose you mean an aftermaket reprogram for the ECU? There are several threads on this, maybe you can try the "search" function.

Your quote at the bottom of your post. The first time I saw this in "Pale Rider" as Eastword rode the pale horse up to the cabin, I thought it was one of the best movie scenes ever.

 

Yeah, I didn't think of that. That was posted at the end of a long, hot day at work and the brain wasn't working too well. And about that quote, I first heard it during the Dawn of the Dead remake in 2004(?). I looked up the music track and found out its featured at the end of a Johnny Cash song.
