Click clank clunk!

I have been noticing a slight Clank sound comeing from the front of my car . Im guessing it is something related to the suspension because i only hear it when im taking off from a stop or when im stoping and going in traffic. If anyone has had this problem and knows the solution please help me.

Thanks
Dan

Front wheels been removed lately? If so, check the torque. Loose wheels can cause the mentioned sounds at stop an start only.

Check the lower one motor mount... also check the strut towers... something may have let go there...

maybe have someone work with you in a large lot with nothing around and open the hood and start and stop with them listening to see where it's coming from ... LOL crazy I know... but if it is that easy... LOL...

Well i went out for a drive to get a better listen to what is going on. The noise that im hearing is not at all loud. The only thing that i can compair it to is if you have ever had a bicycle and the headset was loose, it kind out sounds like that. I have no vibrations and the car isnt pulling. i guess im gonna have to jack it up and crawl under it. no fun

Check the belt tensioner. The little shock damper rubber bushings disintegrate in time.

i had a similar sound that was in my old MC, turned out to be worn tie-rods. i now have the same thing in my MCS, having the motor mounts checked & tie-rods as well

does it happen when you abruptly slow down? or when you're shifting and you suddenly let go of the clutch when in gear?

well that's good that the noise is gone... personally I am concerned as to why it was making it.... like if something is loose... and now the damper is keeping it from moving... if you know what I mean

ha ha no.... if it's gone good... maybe your motor was just hitting something... they tend to rock quite abit from the factory... when under load... maybe yours was just a little more than normal... LOL

I have the same problem, do you think you really found the problem? How did you track it down to the tie rod? Help!
