I actually got my MINI weighed at AMVIV.

That's surprisingly heavy. But yours is R53 convertable. I think my r56 mcs is about 2700lb.
But this source says 2657 lb. The picture is not correct but it is 2007 MCS w/ steptronic.

Good starting numbers...but the minute you mod wheels/tires, STB, USS, brakes, sway bars, suspension, stereo systems, back seats (in/out), etc. etc....you lose insight as to the real number.

That's why after 6 months of modding, I got her weighed at AMVIV.

Sunroof, turbo, and AT are the the 3 biggest variables.
The 2-gen sunroof is quite a bit heavier than the 1-gen.

If you've taken delivery it does give this info in the back of the owners manual.
