I could really care less about sttraight line speed..but it does give it a very noticeable extra jolt..but it sounds freaking incredible..I also got an ALta 22MM RSB in...Feels so amazing in the turns!! OMG!!!!

I started with the Ultrik cold air and didn't really like it, I recently installed the Dinan Closed box intake, gotta say much better product
All up to you, check them out though.
It fits right into the lower half of the existing air box.

Wonderful sound, like the "new" Italian job movie. Some small-throttle-opening whistle though, do you get that too?

I'm definitely putting in the K&N Drop-in Filter, but what about the CAI? I assume this voids the warranty. Is it worth it? How does the Alta compare with the K&N?

adam76, I'd pass on the K&N drop-in. I had one. It doesn't make a noticeable amount of power (it would be hard for even a dyno to tell) and K&N's just seem to let too much dirt past. I went with a Webb Sportbox and am very happy with the results. The only problems you should have with warranty is if something happens to the engine and they blame it on the intake (but they could also blame it on a panel filter). Also, don't you have a Cooper? These are all intakes for the Cooper S.
