I'm sure it's a minor misunderstanding and will be corrected soon. It could be Gabe is also moving to a new host and the DNS hasn't changed to the new hosting provider.

Just saw that, too. He must be too busy out driving his new R56.

I employ something who runs a server with Twinhosting. The bill is paid in full and we're good for quite awhile.

The problem is apparently a bit more serious. The host is having attacks and they've somehow traced it to the server MF happens to be on (with other sites). They've now shut-down the server and are investigating with no time-table given.

Sorry to hear Gabe - hope you're back up and running soon. It's unfortunate your web hosting provider has been attacked.

I am placing my $$$ down that the guy running the attack is a regular on a CRX website!

Hey Gabe,

FWIW, my own MINI site, littlemini.us got hacked a few days ago. They managed to get into my MySQL server db and change the data around.

Here's to the webhost getting the issues straightened out. I'm looking forward to your full photo and delivery details of the R56.

Maybe it's his punishment for driving the R56?

Update: We're moving hosts! We can't wait any longer so we've decided to pack up and leave our previous host for a shiny new one.

The up-side is we'll be back up better than ever.

The down-side? It will take several hours (up to 24 for some people) until the new DNS propagates throughout the web. That means MotoringFile will continue to be off-line for several more hours.

And for those who are interested (and who have what would have been MF time to kill), you can check out photos of my new MCS right here.

Sorry to hear about the attack. Hopefully things workout better with the new provider.

How about the new site IP address, to skirt the DNS issue?

Turns out it wasn't an attack. Our host finally owned up to the truth about an hour ago. MotoringFile is simply too busy and had been using up too much of the server's resources.

Good thing to let your advertisers know.
