The KC MINI enthusiasts will be heading up to Heatland Park again for Touring Laps. This event is very similar to a driver's school, but is only open to street licensed cars.

Four KC MINI club members attended this event in June and we had a blast, 3 of us had no track experience and this was a chance for us to drive our cars at speed in a controlled track environment. Novice class drivers are required to have an instructor ride with them, intemediate and advanced drivers are not.

Anyone in the KC or surrounding area who would like some really inexpensive track time to experience their car at speed or do some tune up work, please plan to join us at Heartland Park, Topeka on Wed, August 15th.

Cost is only $60 plus a one time $20 fee to join the Heartland Park Club, at the last event we got 5 - 20 min sessions on the track for each group! Track opens at 3 pm for tech inspection and first cars hit the track at 4:30, driving commences till dark.
