ive been recently looking for a car to buy becuase i have been driving around a 87 toyota pickup. so im shopping around for what vehicle i might buy and people kept trying to make decisions for me so i sia dscrew you guys im buying a mini. found out a client had an '03 mini cooper s fully loaded with 22500 miles. finally got the title tranfered yesturday and now im tooling around town in my new (to me) car.

 

Good choice, welcome to NAM. I imagine the MINI is a little different from the 87 toyota pickup.

ive only had it now for about 32.5 hours now but i love it. my pickup was auto so im still wokring with the clutch but im getting it down pretty good. havent taken any pics yet but i will here soon. my boss used to have a mini and hes already telling me about all the mods i sould do to it. he says rear sway bar first because its a totally different car with one. you guys might know my boss or his dad their last name is stofer.

what did you end up paying for it (or, well, if a client - how much worth of your work in trade)?

i just got mine, also 03, with 32k miles, not quite loaded - just the sunroof and sports package - and paid 16.7 for it... seemed like a decent deal to me.. curious about yours, because your miles are even lower.

well like i said fully loaded with 22600 miles koni adjustable suspension and a magnaflow exhaust, i think he said something about performance brakes (but its still considered stock he ran in it stock class events) for $18900.
