Giving them the benefit of the doubt - maybe there wasn't anyway to exit the freeway at that point? What are you going to do, drive against traffic to get off, or just stop and sit?
Seriously...how many times does the weather channel, the news, car dealerships, people with half a brain, parents, drivers instructors, drivers ed teachers, and common sense have to tell you to...NOT DRIVE THROUGH THE ****ING WATER!!!
In that situation I would just sit and wait. I would NOT drive through that. Others will have to stop and wait too.
O would say, oh well, not my car...but other peoples stupidity cause my insurance to go up.

Most people would get out of their vehicle, lock it, and get to higher ground.
