I have it too, and put 150lbs from wacky two dogs in it frequently, it's lightweight, durable, and installs in minutes...well worth the money I paid, let alone the cheap admission of a raffle ticket!
Rich, couldn't tell you as I haver re-installed them. Taking them out if you follow the instructions is quite easy and putting them back in properly might take a little longer. I have it in mine as well and love it as I never had any rear seat passengers. I am going to take mine out and put some sort of fabric on it the help things from sliding all over or slow down, no cover it! Thanks for the donation and will send your tickets back or email you the numbers which every you want. Luke, President Mini Motoring Club of Carolinas.
I asked the guy at the dealership before I got it, he said, a) not something you want to do all the time, if you put this in, it's for the "long" term, not like you'd do it every time you want to haul something, b) it's not "that" long to put the seats back, if you had people coming to town and this was your only car or something, c) they (Hendrick's) would do it for me if I had trouble with it, they're VERY fast from having done so many...

We have a winner. Ed Nixon out of the Columbia SC Chapter won the Kit, but he has donated it back to the Club. We will have another drawing at the Annual Meeting the 22nd September. I still have all the entries and we will give it another go Saturday. Luke
yes we hope to get the 07up Minis soon as well. MINI changed the bolt locations for the seat back assembly so we have to revisit our mounting points. Otherwise, the shape of the kit is exactly the same.
HI Lilruffcat, I am not sure he is a member yet? Email Shelly the Secretary and see if she has the info. All I have is his phone #. Don't want to post it on the board. Luke
We have a WINNER Mr Mike Fatinos was drawn from all who bought tickets. We will be sending a check to the Speedway Childrens Charities in the amount $350.00. Thanks to all who bought raffle tickets and who participated in the Charity Ride. A special thanks to Steve Shrader of Shraderperformance for the donation of the Rearseat Delete Kit. Its a great product if you don't haul passengers in the back, and gives you more room for hauling other things. They are in the process of making one for the R56 but it isn't available yet. We will post it when it comes on the market Luther Shields, President Mini Motoring Club of Carolinas.
