Lloyd's & Drive in Sat 7/14

We are meeting at 6PM this Saturday, July 14th, at Lloyd's restaurant on Hwy 280 for dinner. We will then take the twisties of Hwy 25 on down to Harpersville & go to the Drive-In. If you can't make dinner show up by 7PM & join us for the ride & movie.

Hope to see you guys there!!!!!!!

Mother nature may not be cooperating with us tomorrow, so based on what she is doing will depend on whether I make it or not , I know I won't make the dinner but I will try to be there by 6:50 for the ride and movie

Jerry Tracey says the movie-time temp will be 84° & there is only a slight chance of rain. James Spann says there is a good chance for scattered numerous showers tomorrow & we all know that the weather normally does the opposite of what James Spann says so don't let the threat of rain keep you away

Well I had fun guys. I can't believe how smooth Hwy 25 is now that it has been repaved. The movie had it's decent moments but I think I enjoyed the company more. We need to make the Hwy 25 ride & movie a regular thing

Next time:
- we get there sooner, and
- All pile into one MINI (chairs and all) outside, and save the $10 a carload for one or 2 occupants in each MINI or Mini. Its not like we're going to stay piled into the car - we're gonna picnic! We could have saved $20 last night.

Transformers. The good moments came when the robots were not battling each other. Unfortunately the robots battled 70% of the movie

We had a good time too, hope to do it again soon. Had a blast on the drive-in's gravel! Hwy 25 very smooth, and the clown carload sounds fun. Thanks for meeting up.

I did 25 again yesterday in The Clown Car. They MAY have widened the road a bit in the tighter turns. But in any case, what a smooth ride! And no cycles. 29 Dreams is all but closed/out of business, so biker traffic may be lessened on 25.

That's odd about 29 Dreams That place was always packed with hundreds of bikes every time I went by.

I think that it is expanding and running limited hours while they are building.

The story I got is that the owner has got some mental issues and is essentially running off all his customers. Also, he's over-extended on the shed/cabana that he built, and let all but one of his employees go because business is off.
