New Badge Idea?

So hopefully I'm not the only one who has kinda thought of this. The idea came after watching a big summer hit movie I know...I'm a geek but hey...the idea of an Autobot or Decepticon magnetic badge for the MINI just seems so cool!

Does anyone know if anyone has attempted to make such magnetic badges yet? If not I wonder what the chances are of having someone making them.

Yes, you're a geek... but I think it looks cool!

I'd be all over one and my 5-year-old transformer nut would love it as well!

The badges would be cool, but I don't think you'll find a retailer that will make them for you without the proper permission. You might be able to have something made on the side, but most places won't touch IP art, unless you have that permission.

I figured as much...I guess some of us will have to hope to get something done on the side

Well you could always get a blank badge and have a vinyl sticker put on it, you can get those stickers made in the mall to any size you want. When I had my yellow Beetle I had one made 12"x14" and placed it on the bonnet. I'll post the pic in my gallery after work.

Fixed it for you Em.

And you're right, that movie (in spite of having a really weak plot) totally kicked a$$. This movie was what 40' movie screens were designed for!

ebay has a bunch, but they're all about 5" wide (didn't look at them all). You'll need something less than 3" for a grill badge.

exactly why you would go to the mall and have it custom made. they already have the template and usually it will be on the plexi-wall to show off what they can do. Keep in mind it won't be metallic and will be a solid single color.

I think our malls are pretty ghetto compared to yours Valthun.

Hey folks, hopefully not to get in trouble by posting on another post but it is related to the Transformers topic. Looks like opportunity to get some badges.
