Alta Diverter and M7 extreme scoop

Is there any reason to not run an m7 extreme scoop with an alta air diverter?

it's the same setup i run... not sure how well it works as when i stop for breaks at the lookout at the gap my ic is burning to the touch.

You'd prob be better of running the alta v1 which you could pick up used for the cost of the m7 ram air scoop and the diverter.

although if you already have one no reason not to get the other... they compliment each other well and i think it's the primo setup if you're going to use the stock ic.

No reason not to at all. I run a Ram Air Scoop with the alta diverter and they seem to work very well together in a non-proof, unevidencial, no empirical data with temperature probes or OBD information kind of way.

if you pay more than 75 to get that painted, you're getting hosed.
