MCS just arrived at dealership...

and i was wondering about what things i should have installed/thrown in before i take it home. I live about 6 hours away from the dealership so it's kind of a problem if i don't get what i need installed now. I already plan on having them tint the windows, getting the clear bra installed and putting in rubber floor mats. If there's anything else i should put in there before i take it home let me know. Money is not an isssue.

Gabe

Well, if money is not a problem.

Gabe33,

Get all the bits you would like, a extra set of wheels and tires for winter, some JCW stuff, if the dealer has it in stock, strut bar, new SS exhaust for a louder burble .

No, looking over you specs, pretty complete as ordered. On the mats, make sure you get the velcro under the mat and the disks to secure them. They will slip, sometimes the dealer or pdi installers forget (like all the time, perhaps).

Enjoy your new MINI, pictures of course are needed.

I wouldn't drive off from the dealer without fixed camber plates from Ireland Engineering www.bmw2002.com and an M7 strut brace www.m7tuning.com

Do a search for "mushrooming" and you'll quickly understand why.

I wasn't aware anyone with an R56 experienced mushrooming yet. Where did you hear about it?

If he does a search for "mushrooming", he'll see that there is NO evidence of mushrooming on the R56 like there was on the R50 and R53.

Anyway, must be nice that $ is no issue Gabe. If that's the case why don't you pic up some stuff for me too before you leave the dealership! Just kidding. I say pick up some floor mats and a "Let's Motor" license plate frame and call it a day!

I like the little rubber thingy that goes in the small console/cubby below the climate controls. It's less than $10 if they won't just throw it in.

It seemed like there were 3-4 extended warranties offered but you can get those anytime and over the phone.
