Does anyone else do this??

While motoring along, I sometimes catch myself admiring the reflection of my MINI in the storefront glass of the shops or business I pass by. I always find myself saying "D*mn...look at that car!" (And I've owned this MINI since 2005!)

Not only do I admire LilTiger in store front windows, but in the chrome of semi truck wheels, or the freshly washed/wax paint of large SUV side panels. And yes, "dayum!" is generally the thought that comes to mind.

Ha Ha! I'm glad you mentioned this! The other day I pulled up behind a speciality RV of some sort, with a flat tail-gate as big as the rear of the vehicle. It was chrome! All brand new, with dealer cardboard plate still on. I thought, what a great looking little car staring back at me! I don't ofter get the chance to see myself and Sgt Pepper out for a spin! I loved it!!

See, and my family thinks I'm crazy for doing that! I KNEW there were others of us out there! Got the coolest view today on the freeway next to an enclosed, low riding, car hauler with super polished chrome all the way down the side. Guy probably thought I was a wack-job driving next to him, staring intently at his trailer!

I love seeing the reflection of my red car in the rear panels of the trucks or SUVs ahead of me (at stoplights, of course!).

Of course. I just cannot help it. I also look at the reflection as I go by 18 wheelers with chrome hubs.

Guilty as charged! And I still look over my shoulder at her whenever I park her anywhere, as well as admire her as she sits parked in my driveway.

Yep! I got a picture around here somewhere of one of those big chrome gas tanker trunks reflecting my MINI in it.

All the time.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. My family all thinks I'm nuts.

All the time.

I'm guessing it's because you hardly get the chance to see what others see when you're behind the wheel of your car.

Rolling shots with you behind the wheel are always amazing too. Now only if I can convince some friends to do that with me one day.

I've been doing it for years, As a matter of fact i used to think how cool it would be to have something called a view-thru. Sort of like a drive thru. But make a tunnel filled with mirrors. So people could see how they look from different angles driving in their babys.

You mean we're not supposed to look at our reflection in these rear panels while going 65? What about while talking on the cell phone? No, guess not!

I tried it once at 80 and my husband got a little nervous.
