Would anyone be interested in meeting early Saturday Morning the 23rd June at the new mall exit 18 I-77 for breakfast before hitting the road at 8am for the Mt. Mitchell run? Will be eating at Bob Evans exit 25 off I 77 cross back over on the left. try to be there by 6:45, we need to leave at 8 am to meet up with others.

Great idea!!! Would love to be there -- plan on just me of my crew. Yesterday was a busy day at work so I missed the show and the ice cream run. How was the car show??

The ice cream run was awesome, except when we all got lost in the ghetto! I would also love to do breakfast before we head up to Mt. Mitchell.

 

Hey, I'm in for B/fast, too. Sue G is meeting us at 8am, hopefully she'll see this and be able to join us. I owe her a left/right off the exit anyway, so I'll drive over there at lunch tomorrow and scope it out.

Jason, this means I'll have to change the post again, to put the new restaurant location instead of the mall. ;-)

There is a Bob Evans on that exit, also a ChicFilA. Not a whole lot else for breakfast.

 

On exit 18 on I-77 - there is only a Waffle House that is about 2 miles down the road.
On exit 23 - there is Toast - small restaurant - best to get there early.
On exit 25 - there is a IHOP right on the exit, Bojangles, Bob Evans.
On exit 36 - there is a Cracker Barrel

I'm not sure about anything else heading in that direction.

 

The Bob Evans is on Exit 18 (Harris Blvd/Reames Rd.), or Exit 25 has the places Courtenay posted.....

 

Still waiting on Dave, but the Bob Evans is o.k. with me, never ate their before but it would be the most convenient for everyone. Going north is off to right or left back across I-77?

Let's do that! I was tricked--there's a new Hickory Tavern on Mallard Creek Church Rd, (highly recommend it if you're in the Univ area and hungry). I'll update my other post with this info and we'll all meet at Bob Evans to eat and plan to leave at 8 a.m.

O.K. we are going to eat at 7 and leave at 8. Exit 25 off I-77 Bob Evans on left going North. If that is correct we'll see you there. Try to get there early so not to hold everyone up as we have to meet up with the rest of the Mini's. So try and get there say 6:45, so you sleepheads rise and shine.

 

I'll be there, just don't count on any sparkling conversation that early in the morning!
