Who got the lightest MINI COOPER S

Weight is very important for small car perfomance.
I feel that people here pursue power more than weight reduction.
If you think you got the lightest mini, could you write down your car weight and corner weighting as well (if possible).

BTW, my mini is a pig.

Ummm....that's okay. I'll pass. I'm willing to drive to base and use the scales over there. Mine should be light considering I'm STILL ripping stuff out and the wife is paying for 1/3 of a car....

2470 w/1 gal of gas, no driver, prepped for auto-x the next day.

Corner weighted the same day, but I can't locate the sheet.

Let's not forget the USAF PFE Study Guide. Throw that worthless thing out and get yourself the new PDG!

Jeebus!!! That is fat!

Have no clue what mine weighs, was hoping it was sub - 2800lbs. with me and a tank of gas in it, but now I'm really curious. I did wind up w/ almost every factory option and my version of the owner installed supplemental organic thorax mounted collision protection system has got to be at least an additional 10-15lbs...

Pardon my ignorance, but what are the two tubes sticking out of the rear grills on your MINI? Did I miss the option for twin rear mounted .50 cal machine guns?

edit: ahhh ok, guessing some kinda tow package... NM...

nono, this thread kinda reminded me of a local that had a modded wrx
with bodykit, 18's, and all but the ride height was factory (super 4x4 look).
was like until him and his fat wife sat in his car.

nice lowered ride.

Please mention your lightest wheels and tires for street use if you are a contestant

Please mention your lightest wheels and tires for street use if you are a contestant who runs on the street and not just on the track. Average non-racing MINI Joe or Josephine could use this knowledge.

OZ Superleggeras (17x7) a hair above 15lbs.

SSR Competition (17x7.5(?)) ~13lbs.

Of course both of those are discountinued

Kosei K1s are around 14lbs I think in 17".

That's because it's easier to add 50 hp to your car and still have all the civility and perks that you want in a daily driver. It's a lot harder to shed more than about 50-100 lbs and still have a pleasant ride to work.

Uh... see pics above ^^
