My wife and I are new Mini owners and are excited to get involved with the Sierra Nevada Mini folks. We live in Carson City, NV, and should be able to participate in the Club events.
On May 2, 2007 we took a fantastic ride to Markleville; over Ebbetts Pass to Murphys, and then back over Sonora Pass. These are some of the twistiest roads you can find anywhere, but the Mini was more than up to the task!
Unfortunately, I found this site a day too late, as we could have been up to the Nevada City event......next time

SNMC is a young club with some enthusiastic members. You should have a lot of fun on their monthly runs.

If its not too short of a notice for you, you are welcome to join REME in Shasta from June 15-18 (details). There will be at least 2-4 other SNMC members joining us on this run. We should have around 25 cars participating.

 

Actually, the Shasta Run is June 15-18. I know of 3 MINIs from the Sierra Nevada Mini Coopers who will be attending this year. Two of us plan to caravan from Reno up to Mt. Shasta via Susanville on Friday at Noon. Other MINI owners (members and non-members) should consider joining us. But contact REME first and make arrangements for lodging in the Mt. Shasta area.

I think I've seen your new pepper white mini in Carson City! In fact I've seen a lot of minis lately. Is it just me??????? Washed my mini this am and am still in love with it.My husband waxed the front of it for me.We are having a run around the Lake this July 22 sunday. You can meet me at the north Albertson's in Carson City 8:30am and then I will be going up to Reno to meet the other minis.We'll take Mount Rose highway up. Should be a beautiful day. We've motored many of the Sierra passes now...Ebbetts, Sonora, Hwy 50, Monitor, Hwy 88 Carson, etc

For the Harley run they might as well start us in the front 'cause they can't keep up in the twisties

Hey Adam!!! Glad your'e going sunday. You have one HOT mini !!!!!!! SMOOTH !!!!!! A newby joining us will be Paul from Carson area. Melissa is going too. That's all Iv'e heard from for now but expect more as it will be awsome weather to drive.............. AND TO SLM in truckee/tahoe area. We have Glenn but haven't seen Ted around or Rence lately.
