Deleting Alta 2% crank pulley...Where to find OEM?
Hello everyone.
I tried to find an OEM crank pulley on the Marketplace forum with ZERO results.
I want to swap out my Alta 2% crank pulley for an OEM but the mechanic who installed the Alta can't or won't find it.
Can anyone advise on where to find a used one or at least a discounted new one. I am having a VERY difficult time finding one.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers, Doug.

No problems whatsoever!
My issue is one of a warranty concern. Without going into details, I want to install the OEM crank pulley just until my warranty is up. Let's just say that my MINI dealership is very strict about what they will fix and not fix under warranty with the mods I currently have.

It makes me want to lose my lunch over the potential arguments with the dealer about what could go wrong with a 2% crank pulley, or what they say could be damaged by it. I'd say going back to OEM is a good move until the warranty is up.

I switched back to a stock unit too....but not for warranty reasons
Good luck with your search.
