Lightning Blue and Wet Okole

Hi All!

I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion on the Wet Okole seat covers and trying to match them to Lightning Blue? I ordered swatches, but it's taking forever to recieve them (or at least it feels like it )

Thanks!

Well, it is a long way to Hawaii and it takes awhile for a surfer to paddle them across...

I had wet okole seat covers on 2 of my 3 miatas and I loved them! They give you a little more cushion on the seat, not to mention they are waterproof! I never had any problems with mine and once you do get the swatches, ordering is easy and hassle free. I just wonder how they work with the side airbags in the seats? That's my only question.

Why you gotta be so mean? Actually, the mental image is kinda funny!

They have a cut out on the side of the seat cover, specially made for the air bag ... there is a good video on their website showing just how it works.

ummm .... so? nobody has tried to match these with Lightning Blue yet? Do I really have to be the guinea pig? How new of a color is LB anyway, when was it first released?

Wasn't trying to be mean, just 'splainin' how the Post Office works.

Not sure whether LB is new to the R56 or not, but it looks like you are the lab rat.

MINI interiors tend to be rather eclectic in color schemes. They mix warm colors with cold, and colors rarely match. The only thing the blue colorline seems to have in common with LB is that they are both a blue. I don' think you need to be overly concerned. Any of the Okole blues should be fine. Or, were you thinking of something like their Pink Aloha?

I have a Hyper blue 2006 that I have navy blue and black wet okole's on with the dolphin sig. I get tons of compliments on them. I had Wet Okole install them for me in Huntington Beach Cali.. took 2 guys about 5 minutes. I think it would have taken me the entire day. Not sure if you can match that color but they will help you get as close as they can..Best Seat covers bar none!
