Lots of singles at the Mountains?

Is it me or do the numbers currently show a trend toward a lot of solo pilots?
See if you can follow my math.
Couple (A) 2 people in one MINI/Mini = a 2/1 ratio people to MINI

Single (B) 1 person in 1 MINI/Mini = a 1/1 ratio people to MINI

averaged together = our current ratio of 1.5/1 or 76 People/50 MINIs

Meaning for every MINI registered right now (50) there are 25 singles and 25 couples. If a car has more than one passenger then the single driver ratio is even higher.
Am I right?

Either you are right

or some of the passengers did not register and will not be attending the dinners.

Or they are planning to pair up along the way to Copper.

Hmmmmm....

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm coming solo. I'd love to bring my sweetie, but we have two older pets that need special care, so he's staying home to care for them and I'm going to MitM.

Ladidah - what are your travel plans I figure you may be going through CORN country. If you will be in the Omaha area on Thursday morning please join our small (for now) caravan to the mountains. Here is a link if you are interested.

I'm planning on camping somewhere in Nebraska Wed. night, so joining up with your group is a possibility...I was planning on being farther into NE before stopping, but Omaha is good. Do you know any decent campgrounds there? I'd rather do private CG so I can avoid paying for a state park entrance fee + camping fees.

WELL, if you are willing to drive on past Omaha 2.5 hours you could come to Minden We have a small campground and a motel. My parents used to manage. That is where I will be leaving from on Thursday morning and meeting the rest making the trip from Omaha. With the Motel being there you would have the option to switch to a room if there were high winds or rain.
Otherwise there is a Campground just off the interstate in Lincoln Camp-A-Way This would also be a great choice as long as there is not some significant event happening in the Husker Nation that weekend. That is the favorite campground of Husker fans as it is just up the road from the University.
Hope that helps,
Jim

Haha, is this thread about single persons or solo pilots??? Both terms are used in the first post---cause I'll be driving solo from Los Angeles, and will only be registering for myself for MITM.

Mostly just solo pilots. Just an observation on my part that there may be several loaners in the mountains.

Luke, I had a thought

Can you do a light show (maybe we all should) at 9:45 nightly, just before we leave for Mt. Evans?

Should be unique....but I don't know how all those R56ers will tip up their MINIs....
