so I finally got her back after 3 1/2 weeks. ughh.. but I got some improvements on my mini.. and honestly im not trying to go for the cooper s look, I just like the bumper and hood better but ya.. heres the before and after

and then I installed my headers today.. been waiting 3 weeks to get it back lol..

I'm not a fan of the "S" bonnet, myself. That's the secondary reason I bought the Coopers (primary reason being the MPGs).

But I like the checkered look, of course ! Your MINI is now screaming for the checkered rear view mirror. Hear it ??

I WANT A CHECKERED REAR VIEW MIRROR !!!! NOW !!!!

Cool!! Looks good. And since you don't have a pesky intercooler in the way, you can fab up a ram-air intake to help take better advantage of that header.

 

LOL! Seems the theory of "the grass is always greener" holds true for hoods as well. I am changing from an S hood to a Cooper hood here soon. That pesky intercooler has gone away do no need for the gaping mouth look anymore.

I just think it looks meaner which then again since my cars not very mean its sort of decieving lol
