Anyone able to pair Treo 650 address book to Bluetooth system?

Hey y'all-

I currently have the Treo 650 from Verizon. The phone will sporadically pair with the BT/NAV system allowing me to dial/receive phone calls, but will not allow me to upload my address book. I wonder if anyone experienced a similar problem and can suggest a solution (without, of course, changing phones). Thank you in advance for your help.

The address book will not upload to Mini/BMW bluetooth ULF modules. The only numbers that will upload are your "favorites" (the numbers & contacts accessed by pressing the down arrow on the navigator)

I've observed this on my Treo 680, basically, any numbers I want to browse on the Mini interface I have to put in my favorites screen.

I don't mind so much, it's my wife's car, and her phone works fine. All address book entries sync no problem. (she has an SE z520)

I just picked up my r56 with bluetooth today - my treo 650 keeps disconnecting and then freezes up with a white screen. Anyone else experiencing this? I also have the issue where voice recognition doesn't work - so I'm wondering if both problems are related

I have sprint. Its worked with a Sony Ericson headset and my wife's blueant super bluetooth speaker without a problem. With the Mini set up, it finds the phone, then looks for it again, finds it, looks for it, etc. Some times the contacts will show up and then they will disapear. I'm going to try deleting it and then pair it again to see if that helps. I'm also going to try pairing the car with another phone to see if it has the same issue.

Coffeeman - I just realized we have almost the same exact car. I have a DS/B, premium, sport, cold weather, carbon lounge, comfort access, 17" web spoke, nav, english oak, bluetooth, comfort access, Sport Suspension, anthracite headliner, clear lenses, fog lights, hi fi upgrade. How do you like the english oak? I left out the chrome and lsd (although in retrospect - wish I had added them)

Do you have the latest Sprint update? (113a) Also, have you installed the most recent Sprint car kit? If not, you can get them at Palm.com

I like the english oak, but I would have liked BMW's Vavona Redwood better. The oak is a little too small grained, and does not look real.

I also really wanted the Redwood Lounge leather, but thought that the red door panels were too much red for my taste. If I could have ordered black door panels with redwood lounge leather, that would have been my first preference.

All in all, I'm really loving the MCS. I'm coming from an X5, so the size issue is taking a little time to get used to. The only thing I hate about the MCS are the run flat tires.

I have the sprint update but I don't have the car kit. That must be it, I'll check it out tonight. I've had the car two days now and have driven about 100 miles, its a lot of fun and I'm amazed by the gas mileage. My only concern is that it feels a little squirlely or jumpy in turns or if i hit any uneven pavement. I had a non-s Cooper automatic before this and I felt like I was in more control with it - it felt tighter. I've also never had a car with this much power, so maybe that's the difference, but if feels like it almost sways at times. Maybe its the tire size? I had 16's before and now I have the 17's.

For anyone with a Treo 650 that crashes - I figured out my problem I had a game on my Palm since the days of the Palm V. Each time I upgraded my hardware, the old software transferred to the new device. It ended up that there was a compatibility issue between the game - Zap 2016 - and the Treo. The issue was really evident with bluetooth pairing on the Mini and crashed the phone every time, Zap 2016 deleteed - phone works perfectly

after much difficulty attempting to sync my treo 650 with the bluetooth module, i finally determined the problem...i had "additional digits" in my voicemail contact (my password was set to automatically dial when i called my voicemail)...by removing the additional digits and updating to the 1.05 version of the verizon treo software, the phone is working well and the favorites now show-up on the bluetooth screen...
