Meet Belle! Baby needs new shoes.....

I picked up my LiB/W MCS 07 tonight. The transaction took a little longer because they ordered the wrong wheels. I wanted the white bridge spokes and it came with the star design instead. Once they figured out what went wrong (a keying error at the dealership), they asked what I wanted them to do. They would have tossed in a slightly longer maintenance period, but I really wanted the bridge spoke wheels. They should have them in a couple of weeks, so we'll motor back the 200 miles from home and get them swapped out.

My MA felt really bad and threw in a set of checkered license plate holders for the anguish.

I've added a few picture to my gallery. I'll take some better pictureswhen we get home.

Congrats on your new MINI. I got the wrong wheels too and went back after 2 weeks to get the correct ones. It was a drag to drive 200 miles back to the dealer, but it was nice to have the first 700 miles or so on a different set of tires. You'll be happy to get exactly what you wanted.

Lovely! And I think you should not feel bad about at least asking for the extra year of maintenance or something. I hope the wheel situation doesn't distract you too much from the joy!

Thanks! We're home now after driving 260 miles yesterday and today. It was great fun! Plus I think we got pretty good mileage. We took non-interstate roads home and took it easy just enjoying the ride.

And to think we'll have to take another road trip in a couple weeks for the new wheels...

Here is the mileage we got on the first 260 miles. Better than the EPA listed.
