I would like to do a roll call of how long you have been waiting for your car.

I ordered mine on March 20th so it has been exactly 50 days and i only wish i knew how many hours so i could calculate...


i shall update this once i actually get the car...

 

24 days or so...... still waiting.

21 days and it just got loaded on the boat today!!!

 

57 days and waiting. Ordered March 12th. Arrived at VDC on May 2nd. Exact current location unknown -- to me at least.

 

I ordered mine on April 19th and have a production date of June 23. Can't wait till its here!!!

 

Just as I clicked the Submit button, the phone rang -- MINI of Mountian View to say that my MCS had arrived. I can pick it up Thrusday!

Ordered mine 11 days ago, and it is on the Integrity on its way to it's new home(and me ). Just a matter of lucky timing on my part.

I waited 35 years! I can't believe that there was life before MINI!

 

You guys are so lucky these days. I ordered my 06 in Nov 2005 and took delivery in April 2006.

 

I ordered my car on February 23 and received it April 20th. When I ordered it my dealer estimated a May 15 delivery date. I have no idea if my experience is typical.

 

Ordered my MC (manual, lightning blue w/ white roof, wood dash, DSC, MSFW) last Friday. I was told yesterday that it had started production and that I would get a production number ASAP but I'm still waiting for that (and bugging my MA). I expect a good 8 weeks or so yet.

If you're pissed off about waiting for car then dig this:

My previous car was totalled by a drunk driver and so I have no car at the moment. I was willing to accept 2 months of having to carpool with my wife to get MINI. Which means that I have to go to work 2 hours earlier than I otherwise would. Ouch! But I think it'll be worth it.

 

i ordered on april 14th. 18 days and currently on a boat.

 

I waited 49 days and actually got the car about a week early

See siggy for details. Scheduled to be delivered on the 21st and in SC tomorrow. Would have been nice to not wait at Southamton for nearly two weeks but others definitely have had it worse.

 

90 days, from 2/7 to 5/7, but that included 5 weeks of delays because of paint color.

I ordered on April 13th...that makes it about 26 days (if I count right) thus far. I think I will have another 14 days at least....the car will be off-loaded in Charleston on the 12th/13th and then a week to get through the VDC and be trucked here. That last leg may be slightly longer I'm projecting, but that's how it went with my '03 and my MINI got transported through a winter ice storm!!!
