June Lake Party?

Anyone have a place on the lake, or access to a place.
We could even travel to Wind Creek state park in Alexander City and take Hwy. 25 down to Hapersville for a start.

Have lake house

We have a house on Smith Lake in Winston County. About 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Bham. Would love to have everyone come up and see the lake.

I have a 10' wide, average of 14" deep creek behind my house if that counts for anything?

If it rains really hard I get a big puddle in my back yard. Of course timing & planning would be difficult

Nothing against your backyard puddle, but lawdog's offer sounds fantastic!

ok Deal then, Lets set a day for the lake party on our next Meet & Eat.
lawdog if you can emial me or pm me and we can try to set it up or maybe you can come to that next meet and eat on June 11th at the Bright Star in Bessemer.
Also our date for the International Motorsports Hall of Fame tour and Talladega Superspeedway tour is set for July 21st. Looks like they will be able to make a place for a nice picture of our MINIs out behind the Dome with the Superspeedway in the background. That should make for a nice keepsake for all of us.

PS: As for taking our MINIs on the track was told if I let the MINIs do, I have to let all the car clubs do it. Anyway we can start earlier that day and take Hwy. 25 to Vincent then over to Pell city then take another twistie Hwy. 34 to Lincoln.

I don't have any problem at all if you want to let all the other car clubs out on the track. . . .

On the road all weekend, but when I get back home Monday, I will try to email you back lawdog. I was not at the Do Dah Day, but I am one of the other Liquid Yellow ones. Hope you all have a nice weekend, SEC Tourny is over for me, so now I am headed to Mobile for the Sunbelt Tournament Championship game. O I got word back from the Superspeedway and the weekend of July 21st is the best weekend for the track official. I am still working on him about our little cars takin some track time. Keep your fingers crossed.

I have had my 03 mini on the Talladaga track it was fan day if you bought a ticket for the Oct race you got to make one lap around the track. I think I was at 90mph when I hit turn 1, let tell you that 33 degree banking is wild not what you see on TV , every run flat light and DCS light came on if you ever get to do it it a blast.
