I see the max tire pressure (from the wheel) is like 50 something psi... anyone know the recommended tire pressure?

 

According to the manual (p.88) it's probably 33F/33R.

 

Should be on your door jam.

 

The pressure depends on how many people are in the car and what your top speed is going to be.

Up to 100mmph with 1-4 passengers, 33psi F/R
Over 100mph fully loaded, 36psi F/R
Some wheel and tire combinations say 41psi F/R for high speed driving.

Right now I am running 36psi front and 32 rear, to get the back end to be a tiny bit loose and give me sharper turn-in.

 

Indeed, it's on the door jamb.

I like that it advises a different pressure for over 100 mph! I've never had a car that said that...
