I think you just might have them all. I've never been able to find those in the stores.

Fujimi makes a Cooper:

I picked one up at my local hobby shop a couple of months ago, but haven't started it yet (too many other models in the queue ahead of it). It's typical high quality Japanese model kit as contrasted with the Revell kit.

Cheers,

Green Burago Metal kit 1/18

Hi,

I saw a large die cast (I'm pretty sure Burago) kit with a BRG Mini in 1/18 Scale. Sealed in plastic.

If anyone wants it, I can get it and mail if you PayPal the cost plus US Postal Srvice shipping. (The price was 19.99 Euro which is $26)

Fujimi just came out with an MCS in either right or left hand drive. It is available from hlj.com, linked above, and it is available stateside although I haven't run across one yet. This is a real injection molded model kit, not an unassembled diecast.

I bought the Fujimi MCS from HLJ a couple of months ago in the LHD version. It shares a lot of parts with the Fujimi MC kit.

Fujimi are releasing Italian Job (original, not the crappy Hollywood remake) Classic Mini kits in June.

Hey...I just picked up the Maesto 1/24 MINI kit for $9.99CDN (That's $8 US) at Zellers (in Canada).

Thought the kit is actually pretty easy to build, I spent last night detail painting. Cupholders, seat heater buttons and the downtubes got painted aluminum silver. Also part of the steering wheel and pedals got painted. I painted the trim in the doors (molded in black), dark grey to look like the brushed metal look.

Somewhere in my disorganization, I dropped a screw. So I have to go look for it before final assembly.

I might detail the engine with real wires and retrofit a strut-brace into it at a future date.

Also I plan to paint under the car too. Aluminum colored exhaust and a more proper looking tailpipe outlet.

But $10bucks Canadian is a good price

Dumb question about the Revell model. And correct me if I am wrong or if it has been brought up before but, Isn't the body code for the MCS R53 and the body code for the MC R50?

Revell

If I am correct, I wonder if revell knows they made a mistake?

I was able to find the Maesto kit a Wally World @ $9.99 so I at least have a 1/24 BRG/W MINI.
