Looks like they've changed it up at Cooper Flags:

http://www.cooperflags.com/ProductDetail.cfm?ID=308

Now you can have up to 3 different designs made on the 9 pack custom order.

OR

You can have up to 6 different designs made on the 18 pack custom order.

If you think about it, that's the perfect amount - 3 of each design. 1 to use on your MINI, 1 as a back-up and one to give to a friend (or your resident online badge addict )

The two red-ringed badges would make an awesome pair for my rear badge holder.

I have too many ideas to spring for 18 badges each time, so that would be perfect for getting them made up!

The circle cutter will cut the 30 mil magnet sheet with one pass. However to cut the 60 mil it takes 2 passes. I use c-clamps to clamp the cutter into place so it does not move and I am able to get a good cut on the 60 mil. If I can get the roller blades for the cutter sharpened more it would probably cut the 60 mil in one pass.

is the UV coating sheet for preventing color fade?

Have I missed anyone? I thought I had some other names.

I've got several more badges if anyone wants to trade.

I am happy with the materials that I am using. For the past week I have had one of the badges that I made on my car and it has been through a little bit of rain and it still looks fine. Yes the UV laminate sheet is to prevent the sun from bleaching out the colors. It also add a layer of protection on top of the printed vinyl and it actually makes the colors look richer.

Cool. If you decide to get the 18 pack from cooper flags and you want to get them made I can get you the artwork.

I didn't think I'd ever get rid of 18 badges, but between the trade, the couple I kept for myself and handing some out to a few local friends, I'm down to 4.

Yep, mine are disappearing a little faster than I thought they would. However, I've got some nice badges in return.

Hey guys! I got two in the mail today: Fool68's and Dickdavid's. Cool! I usually keep my personalized badge collection at work - I'll have to take a pic of the growing collection to show you guys. Thanks!

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaack

Okay, I've been AWOL for the past few weeks (haven't even had time to log on to NAM. Work has calmed down a bit now, and I can finally catch up on my delinquent trading!

So, if you've PMd, emailed, or posted a message to me about trading, send me a PM now and I'll get a Wellington badge in the mail to you ASAP. I'm actually going out of town in the morning, but I'm taking badges and padded envelopes with me to get things mailed!

Thanks for your patience.

Michael

Wow! This thread has surely taken off in an excellent direction. I love the collection above. I think I'd have to cover the Hubby's tool box with that collection. Very nice!!!

I love the waving American flag!

Mishka , Received your badge today, I will get one out to you today.

I think I have sent out badges to everyone that asked or I received , but if I missed someone let me know.

And for anyone else who still wants to trade , just ask.

I keep hearing from folks who want to trade badges, but are afraid to commit. With some of the solutions that I've seen on this thread, I can't see why they couldn't.

On a side note, I was at the dealership yesterday and picked up a MINI Takes The States 2008 metal badge. It probably won't see my MINI, but it will be part of my MUCH smaller metal badge collection.

Hey, I resemble that remark!!! No, really, I've coordinated w/ CooperFlags for mine. (Due to time constraints, I'm obliged to contract out the work!) Two designs, so for those who have already sent their badges to me, DANKE! And mine will be here in the near future...I promise.
