Quite welcome! I was away from the boards for a week dealing with a family emergency, but I'm back. I think I sent out all the badges for trades that I had on my list, but I still have a few and if there is anyone else interested in trading for the American Flag badge, let me know!

 

As soon as I can get help on a design and get some ordered, I'm going to love trading with all of you. I hope you all have some badges left by that point!

 

Well my first badge to go MIA. Was at the brewery yesterday and someone "borrowed" my Ugly Pug badge.

 

That stinks!

I really want some of the badges on here that you folks have come up with. I have to get rolling on designing a badge for trade.

 

You know... I've already wondered about that. The Ugly Pug may have to stay home if someone is going to steal it.

 

I already have a few badges set aside that will only be for mini events:
My NAM Alliance Charter Member Badge
The Ugly Pug Badge
and possibly my new MTTS 2008 Badge

They're strong enough that they won't fall off, but I'm afraid of losing them after a trip to the mall.

 

Sorry to hear that mwedge - I wonder if they thought you could just go get another (which, of course you can, but that's not the POINT.)

I keep my trading badges in my office cubby -- helps draw in spectators w/ questions and gets them interested to see the variety. I keep the funny ones on the car. Knock on wood they don't get stolen.

I have a badge design. Before I get them mass printed, I've just ordered one each of two different designs to see what they look like and pick my favorite to trade. Hopefully you folks will help me decide which you like best for me to get a batch of for trading.

Should be here in a week and a half or so.

Well I broke down and bought the materials to make my own badges. I got a circle cutter, 30 mil and 60 mil magnet sheets, inkjet printable outdoor vinyl and UV over laminate. Here is my first batch of badges. They are on the 60 mil magnets. Still have a few kinks to work out but getting close to what I want.

 

My vote is for #1.
