Ridemakerz MINI

Went with my friend and his daughter to a place called Ridemakerz, where you can build & customize your own "ride". I chose to build one of their radio-controlled MINI's and chose the flat black with black roof. Cool concept with all of the stuff that you can add. Since my ride wasn't available with a white roof and mirrors, I took it home and painted them later. I've attached some photos of the before and after.

It's a VERY cool place to go, especially if you and your child are car nuts. My friend's daughter chose to build a 2nd gen Scion xB in purple, and added some stickers & funky rims. I can tell that she already has the car bug...and she's only 10.

Check the website and see what you can do. If you're close to a store (not too many of them), by all means go. It's a blast!

I bought one of the limited edition MTTS ridemakerz cars this past weekend. #11 of 50! Eddie (1FastMINI) has #1!

I just plain couldn't decide so I had to leave the store. But I'll be back!! My boyfriend owes me a present...

I saw them on the list for MTTS and I'm looking forward to getting (another) one in Chicago.

I ordered one a while back, but since the model is an R56, there is no Electric Blue. I decided to customize mine to match my 05 EB, right down to the Joey-mod headlights and tail lights. It was time consuming, but fun.

Wow.... I didn't have the patience to paint mine. And they don't have a BRG, so it would have been a total repaint. They forgot my "license plate."

Nice work!

Thanks! It wasn't at all difficult to repaint it, just a bit time consuming. All of the trim pieces remove fairly easily, and I had some Electric Blue paint left over from a previous project, so I decide what the heck.
