Late to the party- who makes the best MCS die cast?

I would like one for my desk, and if I can find it in the same color, etc that would be incredible! I know there are many makers that I do not know of so please let me know where to look-or google for a 06 MCS diecast. I'd love something 1:18 but detail is more important than scale.

Thanks!

As you said, there are MANY die cast brands that have MINIs, and most folks will give different answers about the best as there are several really nice models out there. Kyosho makes the diecast models that you can buy at the MINI dealers and are very nice models.

If you want to have a look at a good selection, try www.peoplekars.com. They even have a MINI Cooper Garage to make browsing easier.

The ones available from the dealer are pretty nice. can't remember who makes them though.

I prefer to build my own!

That's a nice looking one with the lights and different wheels. I'll check out the Kyosho's too.

Nice work Squirlz-did you build that from a kit?
