I won't be able to make it, I'm in a great deal of grief to say that b.c I was really looking forward to it... but I can't sit that long this early on.. here's why...
Hello, I’m sending this out to let everyone know that I was in an auto accident on Thursday the 17th aprox 1530. I am fine; I have a fractured Pelvis that should heal in 8 to 10 weeks and some other bruises and aches from the impact. I was hospitalized overnight to make sure there was no internal bleeding (as pelvic fractures often cut vessels) but after two blood draws everything was fine today. I had to stay a bit longer than expected today due to a bad reaction to the Vicodin, which I’ve never had trouble with before, but I am home at Joe’s resting now through Tuesday. I will be able to return to work after Tuesday, and the doctors said that I could do as much as I physically could handle but not to push it… That means no riding the horse (or anything else) for the 8 to 10 weeks….

Here’s what happened…. I was returning from the doctor’s office, which is oddly enough in the same hospital that I was kept in last night, and was stopped at the stoplight at 40/231… The light changed and I went behind a van going east, as we were approaching South Putnam High School they turned on their signal to turn into the school parking lot and I went to go around them… The other driver was not paying attention to anything and only saw the van had it’s turn signals on and floored it to cross 231 to get into the westbound lanes. As soon as I saw the headlights from her SUV cross the van I slammed on my brakes but she froze right in my lane and I T-boned her. I’m not sure how fast I was going when I finally hit, but there are now a nice jet black set of skid marks where I smashed the brakes. She was fine as well as her two passengers and had minimal side impact damage on her driver’s side but my car was totaled and if I had not been wearing my seat belt I would’ve been in much worse shape than I am now, I have no doubt I would’ve been inside HER vehicle via my windshield and her passenger side window. It was obviously her fault and I don’t expect it to be seen as any other way through the insurance agencies, we are now waiting for contact from the other driver’s car insurance company about getting me a rental and getting the whole process started. There will be no fixing my car, so this is sure to become a long term problem…. She was driving mommy and daddy’s brand new SUV and had a probationary operator’s license, well not anymore… ::mumblesstupidbitchmumbles::

I was extremely shaken up and went to the hospital, where we found the fracture that I thought was just a pulled muscle. I’m at a bit of inconvenience for a while but at least I’m here to write you this and I’m unharmed for the most part. I just wanted to let everyone know.

Our mini's are similar and I may have seen you this morning (3/19 about 8:30 am). Were you by any chance headed north on I-65 around the Zionsville exit at this time? Just wondering...

Thanks Ministr, it's greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately I just saw how low the Kelley blue Book value is on that POS I drove, I dunno what Im going to do now, I had just decided NOT to take the second job this summer in order to get the car and now no matter what I'm going to be stuck with a car payment....

Ditto Swing!
Thanks everyone! I had a ball! Sorry we couldn't stay to eat but our kids have a tendency to get wild if we leave them alone too long . Anyway if anyone is interested I have posted the pics we took during the drive on my website -- here's the url:
