Hey Henry, there is a real good touch free wash in Speedway just west of the track on Crawforsville road. The system is trackless! You just drive in and it tells you where to stop. Does a good job at washing and drying, but still on days like today freezing in a possibility. I washed mine last night, and since I am only about 1/2 mile away, I can get Cordy back in the garage quick, so I can finishing drying her off.

If you get desperate, you could bring your cooper by after the wash for a dry. I will even heat my garage, well a little bit anway .

Ok. My car is REALLY dirty. How do these washes (touch-free) work? I mean; How do you pay? With quarters?

Nah, I just use my debit card. Most will take them now. And since it is $6 to $8, it is better than cash.

Word of advise though, skip the fancy washes since they will put the crappy all purpose wax on that you really do not need. Just a wash and under body spray should be all you need. Waxing is still something to be done in the privacy of your own driveway/garage!

It sounds great! I have been to one of the trackless car wash in southside, they didn't do well on either washing or drying. Maybe I should try the Speedway sometime. I just checked the weather channel earlier this evening. It seems like we would get more snow tonight and tomorrw all day. I guess I'll have to keep my MINI CAR dirty for a while, waiting for the snow gone. Thanks for your heat garage offer. If I got my BBS RGR this week, I might get desperating for the wash and I'll let you know at the time.

Well I just got back from washing mine. The muck was getting bad so I had to do something. I am going to leave the cooper in the garage this weekend so she can rest. She needs it, somewhere along my travels this week I picked up a phantom crack !

Anywho, I should be home part of Saturday and all Sunday, so just let me know if you need some cleaning assistance.

I tried the Diamond Touchless car was on Main street in Greenwood this week. It worked pretty good considering how dirty my car was and how cold it was. The dryer on the other isn't that great, better bring a towel. It did clean the wheels fairly nice also.

I tried Raceway LaserWash yesterday. Completely touchless with NO tracks.

Did a pretty decent job.

Found that my passenger side door leaks and that window quit working (again) by mid-afternoon. I guess another trip to Dreyer is in order.

I tried Lighthouse Carwash (Murphy Oil in front of Avon Wally Mart) and it did a good job on my stratus. I understand why camminich said what he did! But it did a good job!

Ok, no posts today about touchless washes. The sun is suppose to shine all day, and it should be in the high 40's so I want to see all the coopers outside getting a good wash .

At the very least I need to wash my bonnet so I can inspect the nose for rock chips. I think I may have a few that I will need to try to fill.
