Nice photos everyone!

Cleaning crispy smushed dragonflys from the car, yup, that's spring all right!
TwoMinis, that's a beautiful photo and a DoF challenge, well done.
Em, you really had me wondering what you photographed while on the road between CA & AZ; outstanding double rainbow and a great photo!
Photo #12, where the heck is the camera? Yeah, I know you shot with your lens at 200mm, but I figured I'd still see the camera somewhere. Rubber stamped? Very nice composition!
Where's Kurt?

I was trying to find the camera in 12 too, then I realized you are looking through a rain drop!

how do dead dragonfly's beat my "mini as a golf cart" picture? wtf?

not to mention, I have a hard time believing that photo 12 isn't just a good piece of photoshop work given the heavy pixelation in the drop

maybe I'm just bitter, I thought I had a real chance with this one. . .

If you look at the very top left of the water drop in 12 you can tell it's hanging on to something (the water starts to bend up instead of being a perfect circle) So I wouldn't cry photochop so fast.

Picture 12 is definitely not photoshoped. Please don't scream fake when you don't know much about the techniques used to make the photograph. Another example of this form of focusing:

Photo 12 is very well done. :-)

A "rain drop" on a sunny day with dry ground?
I gave a benefit of doubt and thought "morning dew", but it was taken at 2:55pm in the afternoon, that's not likely either.
I like the photo, it just has me scratching my head a bit with wonder. I'm not ready to buy the "water drop" theory yet, but will believe the photo is upside down.

Could be something simple, a hose...water bottle...any source of water. It droplette dosn't have to be 100% natural (rain, dew, other forms of percipitaion)

Thanks Andy, that link helps. I considered it might be something like that, but figured it'd be too much PITA to pull off; yea for digital. You folks are mighty creative!
Eyedropper used?

Great selection, again. Will have to study more later.

Nothing from me, nothing creative sprang forth. Besides, no sunsets to speak of so I didn't care to try.

How much longer do I have to relish my title?

PB's Critique

I hope you guys don't mind me giving a critique of the pix. I do this with every form of art I encounter, I can't help it. They hate me in museums, as you can imaging. This is a big highlight in my month. I'll do my best to submit a entry next month so you can all get back at me

There were several pix had nada to do with the topic, at all. I think of showers and flowers. I mean, where's the Spring?

#1 Ruined my dinner and made me want to go wash my Mini~ but it is a gross part of spring

#2 Great B&W, the stripe of pavement on the left and the bonnet stripe form a faux vanishing point effect. I do so love B&W but where's the topic?

#3 Sweet and colorful, taken by the roaming gnome

#4 Beautiful color, just what I had in my head when I read the topic

#5 My favorite flower, daffodil and it looks like my car, sweet. The house pulls your attention

#6 A+++ Thank God He lends us such wonderful things to photograph. Wonderful photo!

#7 Spring? where? Really, really nice rolling shot

#8 Really nice line, I guess for golfers, thats what Spring means.

#9 April Showers...thats what I'm talking bout

#10 Love the old pumps, would look awesome in sepia.

#11 Love the blue Mini and the peeping airplane is cool..... and the spring?

#12 This one took some really looking into. At first sight I thought it was a gazing ball. Very creative.

There are some awesome photographers here at NAM. Its all good!

Bubble?

I'd guess that #12 is a blown soap bubble.

don't assume I don't know how the photo was made. I have my reasons for being suspsiscious. Regardless of whether its real or not, its a cool picture.
