Here are some of my favorites from the past winter/spring... 
Sorry to get carried away with the # of photos, but this is pretty much how I spend all my free time now, so I have tons of 'em.
1. A nice bench for a meal break
2. The loneliest chair of all
3. I'd like to renovate this room and move in
4. Debris
5. Dangly
6. Colorful blooms of decay
7. An amazing abandoned church
8. Old wooden roller coaster about to be torn down
9. A long and noisy passageway
10. Weird ductwork
11. A trailer full of crashed spaceship wreckage
12. One of the coolest rooms I've ever been in
13. Abandoned rectory
14. Dumb waiter cord
15. This building about to be torn down
16. Violent ward
17. Fresh air
18. Time machine to the 70's
19. Power plant
20. Gurney
21. Steam from a broken pipe
22. Without a doubt the coolest thing I have ever seen in my life
23. This place is in the process of being torn down
24. Sunlight through a collapsed section
25. Mountains of pigeon poop

somebody wrote me on Myspace. I'm assuming it was referring to the photos I posted waaaay back in this thread of the Meat packing plant but it was seriously confusing. When I went to respond it said I needed to be their friend so I went to add them and it said I needed to know their last name...seriously...talk about a frustrating morning buzzkill. Soo not to look like a jerk I'm leaving a comment here in case they happen to check this thread. I tried.

Holy cow...a friend of mine just sent me this video about the Meat Packing plant I posted picks of earlier in this thread. It would actually be pretty cool if they made it into a park. I was worried they were going to tear it down and put up condos so I'll take the lesser of 2 evils. We use to go out there in high school. I've been shot at there, they filmed some of the movie Cyborg there and I know people who's parents use to go out there.

Abandoned buildings have always been an obsession of mine, and I've spent much of the last year realizing how quickly they're disappearing, and trying to photograph as many of them as possible before they succumb to the wrecking ball, or to beady-eyed wastes of oxygen who burn them down. There are other forums where I usually post this stuff, but there are so many great photographers here that I thought I might attract some useful criticism.
Anyway, here are a few of my favorites for anyone who's interested...
1. Tuberculosis hospital
2. Tuberculosis hospital
3. House in the woods. Road was abandoned when a reservoir flooded the valley.
4. Another random house in the woods.
5. Mental hospital - most of them in Massachusetts were closed in the early 1990's.
6. Farm building
7. Same farm building - stables.
8. Abandoned mansion in the Hudson Valley.
9. Same abandoned mansion. This place was taken by eminent domain by the state of New York in the 1960's, and promptly left to rot.
10. Another mental hospital. It will be torn down in the next couple of years.

12. Abandoned canvas factory - raw materials.
