Abandoned building photos
Abandonded motel
This motel has been shuttered at least a year. I remember a Dodge Powerwagon sitting in one of these carports. A classic Mini would fit great here!

speednut should know that I post processed this one a bit.
Now I'm off to a car show on Prescott's Plaza (square for some), which is the heart of Everyone's Hometown. ::rubbing it in::

Cairo, Illinois: Went from a population of over 15,000 in the 1950's to a current population of barely 3,000 due to racial riots and problems with the KKK. Most of downtown is abandoned, with some beautiful architecture rotting.

I always find these images intriguing,(pardon my spelling). I could spend hours walking around these old citys and towns, and even tru the countryside taking way more pictures then I could ever hope to go back and look at.
Thanks for posting them.

This building sustained extensive damage from Hurricane Charley on
Friday, August 13th, 2004. It is considered a historic building and will
be saved. The temporary steel superstructure is in place to prevent further damage during reconstruction.
It is great to know this building will be saved.

I took a few of this barn in Braselton, Georgia in Oct. '06 while at the SVRA finals at Road Atlanta, When I went back for The Mitty I drove by and it had collapsed, it was sad to see, it was huge and I thought of all the neat possibilties, if it were not in the middle of nowhere. Manuel
I love the way the plants are almost taking the buildings back to nature. I have a few weird photos, but alas I am a computer dimwit, and dont have a clue as to how to post them. Thats OK, they're not as nice as yours anyway!
Man those New England hospitals, etc are creepy! I can see how Steven King gets inspiration in Maine. The architecture of those buildings are very nice and I can imagine they were quite nice in there day-which makes it all the more creepy now.
This is inside a building in Baltimore. It was built as a car dealership in 1906.
It is now an art gallery and studio. The best part is the Gallery is called "Load of Fun" (I am not sure if they were influenced by the room in my photo or not).

Beautiful scenery even with some rain! Gave him a good wash when we go home so he can go again tomorrow!
